If you’re looking for somewhere to get together with friends and family on Easter Sunday, brunch is your best bet! Several area restaurants will be serving special menus for the holiday, giving you plenty of ways to indulge.

If you have family in town staying at the nearby Renaissance Hotel, everyone can get together right there at Flights, the hotel’s restaurant. They are serving classic brunch items like Eggs Benedict and French Toast, and will offer carving stations, a cold buffet, hot buffet, and dessert station, guaranteeing something for everyone. The meal is available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is $45 for adults and $20 for children under 12.

If traditional Easter ham is what you desire, Saint Jacques French Cuisine restaurant in North Ridge Shopping Center will be slicing up roasted pineapple and cherry glazed-ham from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. along with your choice of appetizer and Escoffier Cherry Jubilee dessert. Other options include Eggs Benedict, Salmon Saint Jacques, and Persillade Crusted Leg of Lamb for $52 per person.

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Mia Francesca Trattoria in North Hills will have an Easter buffet featuring North Carolina farm-fresh ingredients with an Italian twist. Salads, fruit, and classic brunch items will be complemented with pasta, Italian entrees like Salmon Carciofi and Pollo Marsala, a variety of desserts, and even Pastiera Naploetana, Italian Easter Cake.  The buffet is $39.95 for adults, $34.95 for seniors, and $18.95 for children under 12.

Of course The Angus Barn, one of Raleigh residents’ favorite restaurants for celebrations and special occasions, has a special Easter brunch planned for this Sunday! Diners can indulge on Prime Rib, Betty’s Cheese Grits, Rack of Lamb, Walter’s Mac-n-cheese, Oven Baked Ham, and plenty of homemade desserts from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.  The buffet is $47 for adults, $29 for seniors “65 years wise and over,” $20 for children ages 5 to 12, and free for little ones under 4.

So gather your loved ones and dine out this Easter Sunday --the best part is someone else will do the dishes!
